Magnificent and rare Art Deco silver brooch
by Theodor Fahrner, Pforzheim (design circa 1932)
Material: 925 sterling silver, high-quality yellow gold plating
Gemstone: A central, faceted blue topaz in a
cushion-shaped step cut, set in an elegant
bezel setting with a scalloped edge.
Decoration: Intricately pierced face
featuring exquisite twisted wire and bead filigree (a characteristic
Fahrner technique).
Back: Solid, enclosed frame construction with a sturdy
original pin mechanism (pin with safety catch).
Hallmarks: Professionally stamped on the back with the 925 fineness
markand the protected Fahrner workshop mark (TF within a circle).
Condition: Excellent, undamaged original condition. The gold plating
is beautifully preserved;the silver patina adds depth and authenticity
to the piece. The stone is securely set and displays a clear, lively sparkle.
