Renaissance Revival Silver, Garnet, and Pearl Brooch, circa 1890
A beautiful, decorative Neo-Renaissance silver and garnet brooch featuring river pearls;
made in Schwäbisch Gmünd, circa 1890. Hand-crafted with pierced, openwork relief
detailing and suspended drops; set with five small faceted garnets, one large faceted
central garnet, and seven small river pearls; C-clasp; stamped „800“ and with an Austrian
import mark (valid 1902–1918).
In good, attractive condition.
