Gisela Geser – Kunst im Stil von Aubrey Beardsley

Die Liebe zur Kunst und zu allem Schönen spannt den Zauberbogen zu den
Schätzen, die im Verborgenen liegen. Mut ist der Pfeil, um diesen Bogen zu
spannen und mit dem eigenen Schaffen an die Öffentlichkeit zu treten.

Ich wurde im geschichtsträchtigen Goslar im Harz geboren. Die mittelalterliche
Schönheit meiner Geburtsstadt verbindet sie im Geiste mit Regensburg, wo ich
heute mit meinem Mann lebe. Nach einer in Leverkusen verbrachten Kindheit
und Jugend war Kunst für mich schon immer ein tiefes Empfinden – die Gabe,
in allem Schönen das Schöpferische zu erkennen. Auch ohne akademische oder
grafische Ausbildung war mein Weg stets von dieser Suche geprägt, die mich früh
auch zu den Fragen des Lebens und dem Thema der Reinkarnation führte.

Aus dieser Passion heraus machte ich meine Sammelleidenschaft zum Beruf und
führte über viele Jahre ein Geschäft für Antiquitäten, edle Handarbeiten und
besondere Kleinode. Parallel dazu lenkte die Liebe zur fernöstlichen Philosophie
meinen Weg hin zur Makrobiotik. Die Kräfte von Yin und Yang und das Prinzip
„big front, big back“ sind für mich Konstanten, mit denen ich mich in allen
Lebenslagen geistig auseinandersetze.

Die Kunst eröffnet mir den Weg nach innen. Auf dieser Suche nach mir selbst fand
ich 1990 zum intuitiven Schreiben. Getragen von inspirierenden Gedanken folgte
ich dem plötzlichen Impuls, mir Tusche und Feder zu besorgen. Der Name des
Künstlers, den ich dabei innerlich vernahm, war Aubrey Beardsley.

Schon in der Jugend faszinierte mich das Zeichnen von Köpfen und Gesichtern
mit dem Bleistift. Auch wenn ich es damals nicht weiterverfolgte, blieb die Liebe
zu diesem Motiv bestehen. In der mentalen Anbindung an Aubrey Beardsley schloss
sich der Kreis: Ich erlernte den Umgang mit der Feder – ein völlig neues Metier für
mich – und fand im feinen Einfühlen zu meinem heutigen Stil. Wenig später flossen
mir aus der inneren Einkehr heraus auch meine Gedichte zu.

Es ist an der Zeit, den Schritt nach außen zu gehen. Seit einigen Jahren drängt es
mich, diese Werke, die in einer tiefen energetischen Verbindung zu Aubrey
Beardsley entstanden sind, mit der Welt zu teilen. Ich lade Sie ein, diese Schätze mit
mir zu entdecken.

Gisela Geser – Art in the Style of Aubrey Beardsley

A love for art and for all things beautiful forms a magical arc connecting us to the
treasures that lie hidden from view. Courage is the arrow that draws this bow—the
courage to step into the public eye and share one’s own creative work with the
world.

I was born in the historic city of Goslar, located in the Harz region of Germany.
The medieval beauty of my birthplace creates a spiritual bond with Regensburg,
where I currently live with my husband. After spending my childhood and youth in
Leverkusen, art has always represented a profound inner sensibility for me—the gift
of recognizing the creative spirit within all things beautiful. Even without formal
academic or graphic arts training, my path has always been shaped by this quest—a
journey that, from an early age, also led me to explore life’s fundamental questions
and the subject of reincarnation.

Driven by this passion, I turned my love for collecting into a profession; for many
years, I ran a shop specializing in antiques, exquisite handcrafted items, and unique
treasures. Concurrently, my love for Far Eastern philosophy guided my path toward
macrobiotics. The forces of Yin and Yang—along with the principle of „big front, big
back“—serve as constants in my life, concepts with which I engage intellectually and
spiritually in every situation.

Art opens a pathway inward for me. During this journey of self-discovery, I turned
to intuitive writing in 1990. Buoyed by inspiring thoughts, I followed a sudden
impulse to acquire an inkwell and a pen. The name of the artist I heard resonating
within me at that moment was Aubrey Beardsley.

Even in my youth, I was fascinated by drawing heads and faces in pencil. Although I
did not pursue this interest further at the time, my love for this subject endured.
Through my spiritual connection with Aubrey Beardsley, the circle was made
complete: I mastered the use of the pen—a completely new medium for me—and,
through a process of subtle, intuitive attunement, discovered the artistic style I
practice today. Shortly thereafter, emerging from this same state of inner
contemplation, my poetry also began to flow. The time has come to step out into the
world. For several years now, I have felt a strong urge to share these works—created
in a deep energetic connection with Aubrey Beardsley—with the world. I invite you
to discover these treasures with me.
