Very nice rare long original Art Nouveau medallion necklace
Handmade necklace in 580 yellow gold, around 1900
with spring ring closure,
from Felzmann Adolf, Vienna, specializing in gold chains and bracelets.
This beautiful gold chain was worn at this length,
with a medallion for long dresses and skirts,
as was common at that time,
it is a very beautiful, elaborate handicraft
with individual soldered eyelets and links,
you can also wear this necklace wrapped around your neck several times,
looks very elegant.
Absolutely rare, there are hardly any antique chains of this type left,
since many chains were melted down,

Viennese gold and silversmiths and their hallmarks 1867-1922 A – K
stamped: Austrian Fuchs gold hallmark (580 gold)
and maker’s mark AF in the oval
