For sale is an exquisite, two-strand Akoya pearl necklace of exceptional quality.
This piece was acquired in the 1960s/70s from the renowned court jeweler and watchmaker Mühlbacher in Regensburg – an address that has stood for the highest level of jewelry craftsmanship for generations.
Genuine Akoya cultured pearls with a beautiful, slightly pinkish luster and a very even surface.
Elaborately crafted box clasp in 18k white gold, set with 10 genuine rubies (approx. 1.3 mm in diameter).
Reliable sliding clasp with additional safety hook (hook stamped 750).
Very good, well-maintained condition (worn). Some pearls show slight growth marks and some pearls show minor signs of wear. The pearls are individually knotted.
