Exceptionally beautiful and rare antique Art Nouveau brooch,
c.1890 or earlier,
in silver, originally gilded
filigree handwork, openwork,
in the middle with a large oval
cut amethyst stone, in prong setting,
decorated with a dove on the right and left,
with fine micro-seed pearls,
each right and left with a small blossom as an ornament,
marked: Wiener Hundepunze and ES
(Emanuel Schwarz, Vienna, commercial award ceremony 1876,)
tested for silver (at least 800 silver),
Security lock added later,
Gilding rubbed, one prong is missing,
otherwise in a good, beautiful condition
