Art Nouveau Ceramic Hunting Platter from Sarreguemines with Partridges
circa 1900, On a dark blue background surrounded by wheat ears,
are three partridges in raised relief.
This is a large hunting platter from a noble estate.
The rare pre-Sarreguemines version beautifully highlights
how one can dine with a beautiful platter.
It was also hung on the wall as a beautiful decorative piece, which it was.
Small edge chip on the base,
hardly detrimental to this magnificent design,
otherwise in good, beautiful condition.
